The Brand
One name over every door.
JULY is a promise written in four capitals. It travels from a brokerage desk to a construction site, from a yacht off the coast to a scholarship letter, and it must mean exactly the same thing at every stop.
This page is the brand in full: the wordmark, the red, the crest that carries sixteen houses, and the promises the name is held to.
The Wordmark
Four capitals, nothing to hide behind.
The name is the logo. There is no emblem above it and no flourish beside it, because a brand that intends to keep its word puts the word itself on the door.
JULY reads as the height of summer: long light, open doors, the season when this city is at its warmest and most alive. The company takes its temper from its name. Optimistic without naivety, warm without softness, certain without noise. Set in heavy, unadorned capitals, the mark is legible from across a street and from across a market.
In writing, the brand behaves the same way it looks. The name appears simply as JULY, plain capitals in the same type as the sentence around it, never dressed up and never abbreviated. What we build carries the decoration; the name does not need any.

The Red
A red with a job to do.
Red is the color of conviction and of high summer, and it is treated here as a signal rather than a decoration. One family of reds, used sparingly, so that when it appears it still means something.
July Red
#EE3423The signature. It carries the wordmark on dark ground, fills the calls to action, and marks the moments that matter.
July Red Dark
#C7281AThe working red. Whenever the brand speaks in red on a light page, this deeper cut keeps every word effortless to read.
July Red Deep
#A31F13The undertone. It appears rarely, in shadows and pressed states, giving the palette weight without ever shouting.
The discipline is the meaning. Because the red is rationed, a visitor learns to trust it: it points to the mark, to the next step, and to the things the house is proudest of, and to nothing else.
The Family
One crest, many houses.
Sixteen divisions live under the name, and no two of them feel identical. The brand is built like a family crest: lent to every house, diluted by none.
The crest
The red wordmark is identical everywhere it appears, from the flagship to the newest division. It is the one element no house may redraw, because it is the part every house shares.
The houses
Each division wears its own hue and voice: harbour blues for the commercial desk, fairway green for golf, champagne gold for private aviation. Family resemblance, never uniform.
The thread
However far a house strays into its own world, the red crest signs the foot of every page. It is the quiet reminder that the same standard, and the same family, stands behind the work.
This is the architecture of trust the company is built on. A client who has been treated well in one room walks into the next one already at ease, and every division inherits a reputation it must then live up to. The crest opens the door; the house must still earn the stay.
The Promises
Four promises, written into the name.
A brand is only the sum of the promises it keeps. These are the four every JULY company is measured against, in public, by name.
Clarity
We say what we mean in plain language, price and promise included. A brand earns attention by being understood in one reading, so nothing we publish should need a second one.
Warmth
Every division exists because a person walked in with a hope: a first home, a voyage, a venture. The brand meets that person the way a good host does, with genuine interest before any agenda.
Excellence
The name goes on nothing unfinished. Whether the work is a tower, a film, a charter, or a line of code, it ships when it meets the standard the whole house answers to, not a moment sooner.
Community
The brand belongs to Vancouver before it belongs to any market. A share of what the name earns returns to students, seniors, and the city, because a house is only as strong as the streets around it.
Trademark
A name held in trust.
JULY and the JULY logo are registered trademarks in Canada. Registration is how we keep the promise behind the promise: when the name stands over a door, a client can be certain the house behind it is ours, and that the standard described on this page applies in full.
In everyday writing, here and everywhere, the brand is simply JULY, plain capitals with no symbol beside them. The formal notice lives once per site, in the legal line of the footer, which is where legal notices belong.
The marks may not be reproduced, imitated, or used in any commercial context without the company’s written permission. Media, partners, and institutions who need the wordmark for legitimate use are welcome to it; one message to info@july.ca brings the correct files and a short usage note.
We protect the name the way we ask our people to spend it: carefully, because every appearance either adds to its meaning or borrows against it.
